Frequently Asked Questions
How do I save a drawing as a template?
After drawing a tool on the chart (trend line, rectangle, Fibonacci, etc.), right-click the drawing and look for the Save as Template or Save Style option. Give it a name and confirm. The template is then available whenever you use that drawing tool in any session.
How do I apply a saved drawing template?
When you select a drawing tool, look for the template selector in the drawing toolbar or right-click menu. Choose your saved template and it will apply your saved styling (colour, width, line style) automatically.
Do drawing templates persist across sessions?
Yes. Saved templates are stored to your account and available in all sessions, not just the one where you created them.
Can I delete or rename a drawing template?
You can manage your templates from the drawing tool settings. Right-click a drawing of the relevant type and look for the Manage Templates option to rename or delete saved templates.
My saved template disappeared. What should I do?
Try clearing your browser cache and reloading FX Replay. If the template is still missing, reply here and I'll connect you with our support team to investigate.
